As a Fullstack Developer at Volubile, you will play a crucial role in building the next generation of AI phone agents. You will work across our entire stack to develop robust and scalable solutions that allow businesses to create and deploy sophisticated AI agents. Responsibilities

  • Develop the key components of the platform: Design and reinforce the essential modules of our AI voice infrastructure, with high requirements in terms of performance, scalability and robustness under heavy load.
  • Create reliable technical integrations: Develop flexible API solutions allowing optimal integration with client systems (databases, business tools, telephone infrastructures).
  • Optimize our web applications and APIs: Develop in Python, Java and TypeScript, with Spring and React frameworks, with Spring and React frameworks, to evolve our backend services and web interfaces.
  • Integrate generative AI building blocks: Work closely with the AI team to integrate generative AI capabilities into our products and improve the infrastructure supporting our voice models.
  • Manage and optimize our Azure cloud: Administer, monitor and optimize our cloud environments in order to guarantee performance, reliability and availability.
  • Encouraging technical excellence: Contribute to technical standards, code review processes, and best practices that elevate our engineering culture.
  • Solving complex technical challenges: Intervening on demanding issues: real-time audio, low latency, distributed systems, language understanding.

Desired skills

  • Engineering school education or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in the design and development of high quality software.
  • Solid experience in Fullstack development.
  • Excellent command of Python, Java and TypeScript languages.
  • Good practice with Spring and React frameworks.
  • Autonomy, team spirit, and passion for technical challenges.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, come up with elegant designs, and produce high-quality code.

Bonus points if you have:

  • An understanding of generative AI concepts.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing, speech recognition or conversational AI.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services and containerization technologies.
  • Experience in building systems in real time at high speed.
  • Past projects on AI/ML infrastructure or ML systems in production.
  • Knowledge of VoIP or WebRTC telephone systems.
